Reflection on decisions:

(Long version)

If I had just understood that when I decided not to go see Family they were actually paying a price for that.

My physical presence held  a great meaning to my family and when I decided not to go see them they paid a price emotionally for that, along with me.

Perhaps if I had thought of it as - if I go to their house they would receive a $10,000 bonus I might’ve seen it much clearer.  

You see . . . I couldn’t see that I was of much value so my value to them was not part of my decision.

This applies to so many many decisions in life!!

I hope you will add your value in another person’s eyes to your decision making process.
